At some point in our lives, we may get a flash of insight that we are the biggest road block in our pathway to God. The block is not faulty preaching, ineffectual Sunday School teachers, or anything else in our religious education. The block is our own resistance to getting closer to God. We want to be obedient and follow God’s call to us, but our False Self, the persona we present to the world, hangs on tightly. We are thus unable to open our souls fully to the love and blessings God wants to give us. The phrase “Let go and let God” is our goal in learning techniques of prayer, meditation, and spiritual exercises specifically structured to help us open our souls to God, and let Him take over and be our True Guide. We will explore these areas in our online conference on Opening the Soul to God’s Love.

Dr. Dorothy Castle is a former adjunct professor of English, author of “Every Child A Winner” a certified Life Purpose Coach and Life Plan Facilitator, a Spiritual Director, a writer, and a community volunteer. She has a passion for empowering women through the power of the Holy Spirit to discover their God-designed purpose in life and unleash the wonderful blessings God has in store for them.
