Summer is a time of games and activities; our schedules are filled with play-dates, swimming lessons, sports activities, and a multitude of plans to give our children the best summer vacation ever. Add to that our already full plates of jobs, family responsibilities, and an endless list of commitments—is it any wonder that we collapse in our beds each night wondering what happened to Mommy’s goals and dreams. As Diane Viere works with parents of adult children who are wayward, she has discovered a universal issue that compounds their pain: somewhere along the way—they lost themselves.

In an attempt to make their child’s life perfect, they have now discovered that they not only didn’t achieve that goal, but they lost sight of their own goals as well. Their pain is compounded; they feel they have failed, they are lonely, they are lost. Being a Mom does not require that we lose ourselves in the process…in fact, Diane believes that one of the greatest gifts we can give our children is the healthy role model of a fully developed woman who is walking in God’s purpose for her life. Join Diane as she shares tangible ways to reconnect with your goals and your dreams. You can find yourself once again and merge the passions of your life with the purpose that God has written on your heart. The first rule of this summer game: make time for yourself…put it on the calendar in ink–RED INK! Please visit the Guest Speaker page for more information about Diane.
